Public website and recruitment service terms
Effective date: 9 September 2026 · Version 1.0
These terms govern access to Staffixo Ltd’s website and the recruitment services made available to candidates and prospective clients through it. They do not replace a signed client services agreement, assignment schedule, employment contract, or candidate placement agreement.
1 About Staffixo
Staffixo Ltd is a company incorporated in England and Wales (“Staffixo”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We provide recruitment and work-finding services by introducing candidates to organisations seeking workers. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we act as an employment agency introducing candidates for direct engagement and not as an employer, employment business, payroll provider or employer of record.
2 Acceptance and eligibility
By using the website, creating a profile, submitting a vacancy, sending us information, or asking us to provide recruitment services, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.
3 Candidate services
- Candidates may submit a CV, profile, references and other information for recruitment purposes. Registration does not guarantee an interview, introduction, offer, engagement, immigration permission or minimum volume of work.
- You must provide information that is accurate, current and not misleading, and promptly tell us about material changes to your availability, qualifications, right to work or circumstances relevant to a role.
- You authorise us to discuss suitable opportunities with you and, after appropriate notice or instruction, to disclose relevant application information to prospective employers or clients. Our Privacy Policy explains the lawful handling of personal data.
- Staffixo does not charge work-seekers a fee for work-finding services. Any optional ancillary service will be separately described and must not be a condition of finding work.
- Candidates remain responsible for assessing a role, employer, location, compensation, tax, immigration and contractual terms before accepting an engagement.
4 Client enquiries
A vacancy submission or candidate introduction does not by itself create an obligation to supply or hire. Recruitment services for clients are subject to a separate written client agreement covering fees, introduction ownership, refunds or replacements, payment, candidate engagement, confidentiality and any sector-specific requirements. If these website terms conflict with a signed client agreement, that agreement prevails for the relevant services.
5 Recruitment information and checks
We may take reasonable steps to verify identity, experience, qualifications, references, right to work and other role-related information. Unless we expressly warrant a check in a signed agreement, clients must carry out their own interviews, due diligence, safeguarding, regulatory, immigration and suitability checks. Information from candidates, referees and third parties may be incomplete or inaccurate; Staffixo does not warrant that it is error-free.
6 Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website or services. In particular, you must not:
- submit false, unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory or infringing content;
- impersonate another person or access an account without authority;
- scrape, harvest, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload or introduce malicious code;
- use candidate or client information for an unauthorised purpose;
- circumvent security or attempt to interfere with the website; or
- use the services in breach of employment, equality, immigration, sanctions, anti-bribery or other applicable law.
7 Accounts and security
If accounts are offered, you are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised use. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, data, systems or legal compliance.
8 Intellectual property
The website, branding, software, layout and Staffixo content are owned by or licensed to Staffixo and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the website for genuine recruitment purposes. You retain ownership of content you provide and grant Staffixo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt and disclose it only as reasonably required to operate, secure and improve the services and comply with law. This licence ends when the content is no longer required, subject to lawful retention and backups.
9 Third-party links and services
The website may link to job boards, assessment providers, video platforms or other third parties. They operate under their own terms and privacy notices. A link or integration does not mean that Staffixo endorses or controls the third party. You should review its terms before use.
10 Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, opportunities or content. We may update these terms for legal, security or service reasons. Material changes will be notified by a reasonable method and the updated version will state its effective date.
11 Confidentiality
Information identified as confidential, or that reasonably should be understood as confidential, must be protected and used only for the relevant recruitment purpose. This does not apply to information lawfully public, already known without restriction, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law. Personal data must also be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law.
12 Disclaimers
Job descriptions, salary information, candidate profiles and other third-party information are provided for recruitment purposes and may change. To the extent permitted by law, the website and general information are provided “as available” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing on the website is legal, immigration, tax, financial or employment advice.
13 Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, Staffixo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data arising from website use, reliance on third-party information, a recruitment decision, or a relationship between a candidate and client. For free website use, Staffixo’s aggregate liability is limited to £100. Liability under paid client services is governed by the signed client agreement. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
14 Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website at any time. We may suspend or end access where you materially breach these terms, create a security or legal risk, misuse information, or where the service is withdrawn. Provisions intended to survive termination—including intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, governing law and accrued rights—will continue.
15 General terms
If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent; we may transfer ours as part of a restructuring, sale or transfer of the business, provided this does not reduce mandatory protections. These terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship beyond Staffixo’s stated recruitment role. A person who is not a party has no right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
16 Governing law and disputes
These terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that a consumer may retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom or other country in which they live.
